About Us

FVTech exists for one reason: most technology advice is either too basic to be useful or written for people who already know the answer. We aim for the space in between — clear, practical guides for people who just want their tech to work.

What we cover

AI tools, apps and software, Windows and Android, gadgets, online safety, and step-by-step how-to guides. If it is something people wrestle with on an ordinary Tuesday evening, it belongs here.

How we write

Every guide is written in plain English, with the steps spelled out and nothing skipped. Where a product has a real drawback, we say so — a recommendation is worth nothing if it only ever says yes.

Our approach to reviews

We are clear about the difference between hands-on testing and research. Where an article is based on published expert reviews and owner feedback rather than our own testing, we say that plainly in the article. We will never present research as first-hand experience.

How we make money

FVTech is free to read. We may earn revenue from advertising displayed on the site, and in future from affiliate links, where we may earn a commission if you buy through them at no extra cost to you. Advertising and affiliate relationships never influence our verdicts or which products we cover. Any affiliate content will be clearly disclosed.

Corrections

Technology moves and we get things wrong sometimes. If you spot an error, tell us and we will fix it and note the correction. Email contact@fvtech.site.
