How to Clear Cache in Any Browser

Your browser saves copies of pages so they load faster. When those copies go stale, pages break, logins fail, and sites look wrong. Clearing the cache fixes it.

The shortcut works almost everywhere: press Ctrl+Shift+Delete (or Cmd+Shift+Delete on a Mac). Choose Cached images and files, set the range to All time, and confirm.

Leave Passwords and Autofill unticked unless you want to re-enter everything. Clearing cookies will sign you out of most sites — useful when a login is stuck, annoying otherwise.

Pages will load slightly slower the first time afterwards. That is normal, and it passes quickly.
